1 Month Old!!

Well, the day has come...today Garrett is officially 1 month old. Time really flies! I have been lucky to get to stay home and enjoy every minute. He hasn't left my side except for twice and only a few hours each time. I definitely think it is going to be soooo hard to go back to work and leave him with someone. We will see though how it goes :(



On to the positives!! I took Garrett to the doctor this past Wednesday for his one month checkup and wow how he has grown. He had gained almost 2 lbs and now tops the scales at 9.0 lbs and has grown 3/4" to a whole 20-3/4". The doctor was quite impressed that he had gained so much in only 3 weeks. We definitely have an eater on our hands. He eats anywhere from 4 to 6 oz at every feeding and I have been told that it was almost unbelievable for one his age to eat so much at a time. He definitely seems to enjoy it though :)



We also had our first bath last week. Seems like it took forever for his cord to fall off, but we are getting to have lots of bath time fun now. Not really :( He doesn't seem to like it too much yet. Well, I have included some pictures of him at 1 month and also of his first bath. Hope everyone is having a good start to their week and we will post again soon!

My cute outfit. I have graduated on to 0-3 month clothing now. This had some really cute overalls with it, but he puked on them and we had to change to different pants.

I know it seems like he is always in this chair, but it is just the easiest place to get pictures of him. He is quite squirmy everywhere else I lay him down.

This was the beginning of the bath and he wasn't too upset yet...

Now I am starting to squirm and gearing up for some heavy screaming :) He did some better last night, but we didn't get any pictures of it. Hopefully he will start enjoying them soon!
