He's Here!!!

On Friday, December 11th at 11:13 pm (after 22 hard hours) Jon Garrett Dawson was born!! He weighed 7 lbs 14 ozs and was 20" long. We are so very proud. I definitely don't think that anything you read or are told really prepares you for that moment when they hand him to you. It was almost like it wasn't real for a while....very hard to imagine something so cute and precious only takes 9 months to make :) Anyway, I will try not to be too sappy.

We wanted to let everyone know that we are doing well and have been recovering well. Garrett is a very easy tempered baby. He rarely cries and is eating well, so we really have a lot to be thankful for!! My doctor, which I have always really liked, came in the day after the delivery and asked if he could take some pictures of us. Little did I know that he use to be a professional photographer, so we ended up with some really great pictures!! Thank you Dr. Mak! I have put some of them below.
